Carlingford

The wide stretching 8.5 square kilometre suburb of Carlingford is home to 28,000 people, culturally diverse and family centric. Carlingford’s name is said to originate from the name of a post office once located on Mobbs Hill dated back to 1883. Prior to Carlingford’s enormous population growth following World War II, the area was native to the Wallumedegal people.
